The intended pace is five sessions of 30 to 45 minutes over one or two weeks, with room to extend. This is time for the decision work, not a promise about a career move.
No technical background is needed for Recon. It describes the work in plain language before asking you to decide.

04 / Before entry
A person reads the application.
The intended review checks two things: that a real person sent the application, and that Recon is open to them. Liviu reads the written context and checks that the LinkedIn profile exists and matches the name.
Recon is not intended for people already working in security, recruiters or vendors. Repeat applications with the same email or profile are excluded.
The review does not judge motivation, writing quality, answer length, education, age or country. A job title matters only when it shows someone already works in security.
When applications open, the intended next step after review is an email with access or a short decline note. No response-time promise applies while applications are closed.
