In Access you plan your move into a career in Cyber / Infosec, and then you carry out the plan. You start from your Recon Logbook if you have one, or from the Entry Check if you do not.
Access is built on The MINDCROUD System, the goal method I created after my own move into cybersecurity. I use the same method when I guide others through that move. In Access it is adapted to choosing a career in the field and building it.

Access starts from your Recon Logbook or from the Entry Check, and its stages are open whatever you decided. You draw the map, plan the march, take your bearing every day and navigate toward the destination you chose: a first role in Cyber / Infosec.

Stage 9 keeps running until Access ends
01 / Two ways in
Both ways lead to the same nine stages. Each one starts from a decision you write and then confirm after at least one night. The stages are open whatever that decision says.
If you did Recon, Access brings your question, criteria, money and time, market figures and risks across from your Recon Logbook. If your Recon decision was a confirmed Go, your outcome page shows a short card with the facts about Access. Next to it is one check for you: talk to someone who does the work before you pay for anything.
Without a Recon Logbook, Access starts with the Entry Check. It takes about 80 minutes: you write your question and criteria, your time and money, your own count of local job postings and entry pay, three risks and a Decision Record. After at least one night, you confirm Go, No Go or Not Yet. The decision is yours, and the nine stages are open whatever you write. After a No Go or a Not Yet, you can stop there or go on.

02 / What Access contains
You work through Access at your own pace, on paper or on screen, with no time limit. Access gives you the structure, and you write the answers and the plan yourself.
All ten career domains, every time
Four parts: how you work, what you value (a 56-card values deck), 56 work tasks you like or dislike, and your experience. Each of the ten career domains lands Closer, Mixed or Further, with the alignments and frictions behind it. Nothing ranks the ten or recommends one. You choose in Stage 4.
Your domain, route and search
The nine stages of The MINDCROUD System, the goal method I created, rewritten for a move into cyber work. You go from the thinking behind the move to choosing your domain, small real experiments, a roadmap, networking, your own learning plan and portfolio, and then CV, applications, interviews and offers.
Your daily and weekly practice
Short evening Watch Notes, at most three planned actions for each of your six Pillars, one to three small habits each tied to a cue, and a weekly review with a monthly and a quarterly one. It is built to survive missed days. One line of your Watch Notes asks whether any sign from your Risk Register showed up today.
One file you keep
Access starts from your Recon Logbook if you have one, or from your Entry Check. Your question, criteria, money and time, market figures and risks come with you. Access then adds who can help you and a check of five dated job postings. Every stage writes into one Access Logbook, and at every stage you re-rate the risks you named and add new ones.
The ending you write, with your reasons
Access ends in one of two ways, and both are complete: a first cyber role, or a revision of the goal that you make on purpose, with your reasons written down. If a condition from your Decision Record shows up on the way, you choose Continue, Adjust or Pause. Access promises no job, salary or timeline.
03 / Nine waypoints, three legs
The nine MINDCROUD stages are the waypoints of your course, sailed in three legs. Each stage ends with a gate: a short checklist you tick and date before you sail on. In Execution, Stages 7 and 8 run alongside Stage 9 until Access ends.
The stage names, the building blocks, the Daily Bearing and its instruments are MINDCROUD's. The cyber-career content is written for Access.
04 / A sample structure
Your roadmap, written in Stage 6, ties the domain you chose to your study hours, your runway and the people the move affects. Milestones set the evidence you want to produce. If-then plans say what you do when an obstacle shows up.
The example is an empty template. It has no lesson content and promises no outcome: you write your own plan and revise it as you go.

05 / What Access leaves out
No tier includes tools, labs, challenges or exam preparation. Access shows you how to choose courses and certifications by checking them against real job postings, with their cost and hours. You do the technical learning on external platforms.
The Career Spectrum Assessment describes what you told it: how you work, what you value, the tasks you like and your experience. It sorts all ten career domains into three bands. It does not rank them, recommend one, measure aptitude or predict hiring. You can revise its starting point.
Access does not include the live community support of Mesh or the direct creator support of Root.
